Children and Young People

We aim to provide a range of activities for children and young people: Sunday School, All Age Services, Parade Services. As well as singing in the choir, welcoming people to church, drawing in sketchbooks, and reading in church.

Sunday School

Children and Young People start and finish in the main service, but go out for Sunday School.

We particularly focus on introducing children to the Christian Faith through Art, Drama, Games and other practical activities.

There is no Sunday School on these days.

Children and Young people take part in the main service, and are welcome to respond to the service in their sketch books by drawing and writing.

Parade Services

There is no Sunday School on these days, but the Guides also take part in the church service.

Children and Young people take part in the main service, and are welcome to respond to the service in their sketch books by drawing and writing.

  • There are books to read from the lending library (back window sill on the left).
  • There are sketch books in which they children and young people can respond to the service in their own way, and share afterwards, if they want.
  • We encourage younger children to pick up a soft toy or puzzle from the Sunday School Trolley on their way into church.

Admission to Holy Communion

After classes, children are welcome to receive Holy Communion at St. Paul's. After Baptism and before Confirmation.
